Custom made goodies, events and a dress sale... October 28 2016, 0 Comments

Hi, kids!

It has been a very busy few months at Summer Indigo and we are going into the high season with lots of new exciting product lines and fun events for you to enjoy. Back in July, I got an official artist certification from the city of Miami Beach, which means I can now sell my handmade pieces year round at different locations in town. I am taking custom orders and will be adding my most popular styles to the site for ease of ordering. Most popular right now are my wire wrapped rings, micro-macrame pearl and stone bracelets or anklets and most of all the always fun and eclectic, stackable stretchy bracelets with yummy semi-precious stones, carved focal beads and the occasional Buddha. You can find me through December 31st at the end of 17th St and the Beach Walk, 4 to 5 days a week.

Amazonite and stainless steel wire wrapped ring.

You can also find Summer Indigo again this season at the Lincoln Rd Antiques & Collectibles market every other Sunday, through May. The booth is bigger this year and features my own designs, as well as the ever-popular Tibetan and Tribal lines of vibrant and colorful jewelry and also my silver and gold, plated lines from Turkey and India. Last but not least I have added tons of stuff to the semi-precious stone necklace collection including on trend chokers, and also many pieces using my favorite stone of the moment: Amazonite. For the complete show schedule go HERE.

There is also a dress sale going on right now, as the plan is to phase out clothing and concentrate on jewelry and accessories. Get 50% all dresses, including the fabulous convertible dress in several lengths.Check out the sale  HERE.

Time flies July 22 2015, 0 Comments

It has been a very busy year, but don't worry kids, although I have been a bit quiet lately Summer Indigo is still here to satisfy your unique accessories and fashion needs. I did not have much time to blog here, because, well, I have been blogging elsewhere. I started creating content for a great site owned by a friend, her blog is called Miami on the Cheap and it is a fabulous resource for anyone traveling to the Magic City to find deals and many ways of enjoying the town while saving up money to spend on goodies right here at Summer Indigo. To see how you can enjoy Miami in style for less just click below:

Apart form the blogging, I also set up shop at the Lincoln Road Antiques & Collectibles Market, which happens from October to May on Miami Beach. I will be back this Fall as it is a wonderful event, in a great setting outdoors during the lovelies months of the year here on South Beach. I mostly showcase jewelry and accessories here, as well as a few vintage items. Last season I teamed up with a French designer of unique bone & horn pieces and we had a very fun and eclectic booth. Next year look for me sharing with vintage handbag sellers and other interesting peeps. I will let everybody know dates and location when we get closer to October.

Bye Bye Luna Designs. Hello Summer Indigo! August 05 2014, 5 Comments

Hi friends!

Bye bye LunaIt has been a month since I closed Luna Designs, after 12 years on South Beach we packed everything up and moved it to my place where it is now in the process of being photographed and uploaded to this lovely new site. Closing was naturally, a little bittersweet, I especially loved spending time inside the latest location where the store always felt cheery and bright, albeit a little small. A little treasure box, I used to call it. But, the lease was up, and business had been declining steadily in the neighborhood. Time for new adventures!

Great memories remain from those years, the exciting years over on Española Way, where it all started in spring of 2002. Who can forget the colorful and exhilarating Belly-dance shows, right in front of the shop, the charming market days over the weekends and the partying at nearby Tapas y Tintos? Good times.

Lots of great people came and went through the years, customers, employees, dancers, characters. Many are still good friends and even partners in new business endeavors! I will keep you posted as things start taking shape about some of the new projects.

In the meantime I hope you enjoy stopping in here at Summer Indigo. Post a few lines, tell us about what you would like to see featured  in our products , what would make you enjoy shopping with us, and anything else that crosses your mind!

I am excited about being able to really focus on the products I love the most, there will not be the crazy riot of choices you may have found at Luna perhaps, but you will still find the unique and the beautiful here plus you will get to see special collections from amazing and very creative designers, both local and from around the globe.
